This page explains how to remove data stored by BuzzInBox on your device and in optional Google Drive sync.
If you want a full local reset on the current device, clearing app data is the most complete option.
This removes local notifications, rules, custom tabs, settings, cached data, and local backup files stored on that device.
Uninstalling BuzzInBox removes the App and its local files from your device:
Important: Some preferences may later be restored by Android automatic backup if you reinstall the App. To reduce that risk, clear app data before uninstalling or disable backup for BuzzInBox in your device's backup settings. Google Drive cloud-sync data is not removed by uninstalling the App.
If you enabled cloud sync, BuzzInBox stores synced rules, custom tabs, and selected settings in Google's hidden appDataFolder. This is not the same as a normal folder in My Drive, and notification content is not synced there.
Google's account UI can vary by account and region. If your Google Drive or Google account settings show an option such as Delete hidden app data for BuzzInBox, use that option to remove stored sync data from Drive.
| Data Type | Clear App Data | Uninstall | Google Account / Drive Cleanup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Notification History | Yes | Yes | Not applicable |
| Rules and Custom Tabs | Yes | Yes | Yes, if they were synced to Google Drive |
| Local Settings and Preferences | Yes | Mostly yes, but some preferences may be restored by Android backup | Yes, for synced settings only |
| Local Automatic Backups | Yes | Yes | Not applicable |
| Google Drive Sync Data | No | No | Yes |
| Analytics and Crash Diagnostics | No | No | Managed under Google's own retention policies |
BuzzInBox does not create a TazLabs server-side account for you, and TazLabs does not store your notification content on its own servers. Optional cloud sync uses your Google account and Google Drive appDataFolder.
